Frankincense Resin Tears Natural Incense

1 ounce bag of Frankincense carterii resin tears, with 1 charcoal tablet.  Packaged in organza bag for gifting. Consider ordering a roll of 10 charcoal discs along with your frankincense. You can break one charcoal disc into 3-4 pieces, to get more burning sessions out of each disc.  One ounce of frankincense resin goes a long way, and makes a terrific natural incense!

Burning natural frankincense tears as an incense, is an extremely aromatic experience, and is profoundly useful for positive thoughts, clarity of mind, spiritual elevation, and purifying your environment.

Frankincense Resin has no aroma UNTIL you burn it as incense, or turn it into essential oil, and then it is profusely aromatic. It permeates the air immediately, and the aroma lingers a long time. Burning resins and whole herbs is a completely different experience than diffusing essential oils. It is enjoyable to try both. 

HOW TO BURN RESINS FOR INCENSE:
* You can place a chunk of frankincense resin on a lit charcoal tablet. Just a small piece of each charcoal tablet is plenty, so break it into smaller pieces with your fingers. Be sure to put the charcoal on an old heat-safe dish or actual incense burner, before carefully lighting.
* You can also toss a piece or two of Frankincense tears right onto a log in your wood stove.
* You can even place a small piece onto a piece of crumpled foil that is large enough for you to hold on one end, and hold a lighter underneath the foil for a bit.  This is extremely effective for quickly filling the air with the aroma, even though this isn't a preferred non-toxic method, and certainly isn't the classiest method, but I believe there is an adventurous rustic DIY'er hiding inside even the daintiest of us, just the same! I saw a video on youtube for a visual of how to do this, and thought it was great.
